Greg is an Executive Manager with an extensive background in manufacturing, sales and marketing, and operations with a specific focus on strategic planning and implementation. He provides a thirty-five-year proven record in progressively responsible management positions. He founded his own technology company in non-destructive electromagnetic testing and profitably sold the company in 1994. As a partner in the Overland Park, KS company, The Meridian Group Inc., he developed strategic marketing plans for companies ranging in size from $1 million to $750 million.
Greg worked as Vice President of Merchandising and Operations for The Reliable Automotive Companies Inc., the largest wholesale distributor of aftermarket automotive accessories in the United States, and was an integral member of the management buy-out team that acquired Reliable Automotive in 2002. As President and Chief Operating Officer, he was responsible for eleven warehouses and 200 employees. Greg also managed the development and deployment of Reliable's cutting-edge B2B web-based order entry system. In addition, he was the executive responsible for the creation and deployment of both Sears’s and Bass Pro’s online and print automotive product offerings, a profitable B to C operation. Reliable was sold profitably in 2006 to Bain Capital.
In 2011, he became a minority owner in Genuen LLC, a software engineering firm. Utilizing his background in educational psychology and his knowledge of current adult learning theory, Greg co-developed two rich interactive training applications, The Fundamentals of Verification and Validation in Software Development and The Principles of Design and Architecture in Software Development. These web-based training courses are employed in the commercial aviation industry as best practices training tools for the guidelines to FAA requirements in software certification.
Greg holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Psychology and Educational Psychology from Loyola University of Chicago.
